On September 21st, the General Assembly adopted the Commemorative Declaration on the 75th anniversary of the Organization. The theme of the high-level meeting was “The Future We Want, The United Nations We Need: Reaffirming Our Collective Commitment to Multilateralism”.

Like the other heads of delegation, H.S.H. Prince Albert II took part in this important event through a pre-recorded message. He insisted on the importance of multilateralism, the protection of the most vulnerable and the inclusion of youth in reconstruction policies, because in the face of a crisis such as COVID-19 "our unity is a necessity" (the full speech is available at: https://estatements.unmeetings.org/estatements/10.0010/20200924/D2gMNUFTawVH/NqUKtsDhRoo5_fr.pdf ).
